CHICKEN WINGS

1.  CAJUN HONEY LIME CHICKEN

INGREDIENTS:

3 pounds chicken wings
1/3 cup Cajun seasoning
1 cup BBQ sauce
2 TBSP Honey
1 TBSP Sriracha
1 fresh lime

INSTRUCTIONS:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray baking sheets with cooking spray.Place chicken wings on baking sheet in a single layer, without crowding. Sprinkle each wing liberally with Cajun seasoning.

Bake on middle rack of the 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.

While the chicken is baking begin preparing the basting sauce.

While uncut, zest the lime until you have 1 TBSP of zest. Cut the lime in half and juice 1/2 of the lime, reserving juice and setting aside the other lime 1/2 for later.

Add the BBQ Sauce, Honey, Sriracha and the juice from 1/2 of the lime to a small bowl. Stir until blended. Set aside.

After 30 minutes, remove the chicken from the oven and baste with 1/2 of the prepared sauce using a basting brush. Return the chicken to the oven for 10 minutes.

Remove the chicken from the oven and baste again with the remaining 1/2 of the basting sauce.

Return to the oven for a final 10 minutes to complete cooking and to caramelize the basting sauce on the wings.

Remove the chicken from the baking pan onto a serving tray. Squeeze the juice from remaining 1/2 of lime over the wings and sprinkle the wings with the lime zest. Serve hot!

2. HONEY SOY STICKY CHICKEN WINGS

INGREDIENTS

1 dozen Chicken wings
2 Tablespoons Soy sauce
1 Tablespoon Honey
½ teaspoon Garlic, minced
½ teaspoon Ginger, minced
¼ teaspoon Sesame oil
1 teaspoon Cornstarch
2 teaspoon water
Salt and pepper to taste
sesame seeds

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 375 Season the wings with salt and pepper. Lay out on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for approximately 30 minutes.

In a small sauce pan, combine soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger and sesame oil, and bring them to a boil.

Make a thin paste with the cornstarch and water and then add it to the sauce when it boils. Turn it down and stir till it thickens. Set aside.

At the 30 minute mark, remove the wings from the oven and baste lightly with the sauce. Return to oven for another 10 minutes or so.

When 10 minutes is up, remove them from the oven and place the wings with the remaining sauce together in a bowl and toss together.

Put into a serving dish and garnish with sesame seeds.

3.  3 INGREDIENT CROCKPOT BBQ CHICKEN WINGS

INGREDIENTS

12-16 chicken wings
1 can Coke
1 Cup BBQ Sauce (Sweet Baby Ray's is a favorite)

INSTRUCTIONS

Turn Crockpot on low.
Pour the can of coke into the crockpot.
Place all of the chicken wings into the Coke.
Cook on low for 3-4 hours.
Remove wings from Crockpot onto a baking pan covered with foil.
Brush wings generously with BBQ sauce
Bake at 350° for 10-15 minutes, just until the BBQ is heated.
Serve and enjoy!

4.  CRISPY BAKED LEMON PEPPER CHICKEN WINGS

INGREDIENTS:

4 pounds chicken wings
1/4 cup vegetable or canola oil
1/4 cup butter, melted
2 tablespoons lemon-pepper seasoning

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 400F.

Toss chicken wings and oil. Place wings on a wire rack set on a baking sheet, taking care not to crowd wings. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

Remove wings from oven. Mix melted butter and lemon-pepper seasoning and brush liberally onto wings (stir butter mixture as you go to make sure you have plenty of seasoning for each wing).

Place on platter and serve immediately.
